BID Manager te Vlaanderen - Gent

  • You are responsible for the follow up of the proposal process
  • You are responsible for the final production of the proposal in cooperation with delivery, finance and sales departments
  • You work intensively together with the account managers  to determine proposal team assignments and integrate "win" strategy, themes and discriminators into proposal as the framework of the response.
  • You are responsible for managing resources required to respond to business opportunities, in order to ensure that proposals and contracts are in line with the company's strategy and capabilities and meet the customers’ expectations and requirements
  • You work together with the marketing department to ensure efficient transition from leads to prospects
  • You work together with the competence centers to develop content (e.g. document library with high quality texts) in order to respond smoothly and quickly to tenders.


Profiel

  • Several years of working experience in ICT bid management in general, solution development bids especially.
  • Experience with project proposals, bid writing and budget construction
    Experience working with standard company sales methodology and supporting tools and applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with team members
  • Strong sales and communication skills are an asset
  • A clear and thorough communication style both verbally and in written form (technical & commercial)
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with public tenders is an asset
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French
